It started, like many things do, with a problem: I couldn’t find a bug spray that didn’t smell awful, dry out my skin, or leave me wondering what I was actually putting on my body.
So I made one myself.
Armed with a few bottles of witch hazel, a blend of essential oils, and a healthy dose of skepticism, I hit the trails in the Ozarks. What was supposed to be a quick 8-mile hike turned into 17. By mile 15, even my dog had stopped walking. I was tired, dirty, sunburned… but somehow, bite-free.
Years later, with a baby on my hip and a mosquito-filled backyard in Austin, I realized it was time to share our little bug repellent secret with the world.
Herba Path is homegrown in Texas and handcrafted in small batches with love. It’s DEET-free, alcohol-free, and packed with the power of witch hazel and essential oils. Safe for skin, babies, pets, plants — basically anyone you love.
